Having been from Saint-Malo for several generations, we have a particular interest in the sea and everything related to it. The idea of creating tide clocks with a clean style and accessible to the greatest number of people came to us by observing our children in front of old brass clocks; they had a lot of trouble interpreting the reading of these objects which were no longer really in keeping with the times.
It was in 2015 that we created our company "Les pieds dans l'eau" with the ambition of bringing the tide clock back into fashion and making it accessible to the greatest number of people, both in terms of its practicality and its cost.
Our small family-run artisan business is located on the banks of the Rance in the village of Saint-Suliac near Saint-Malo; our creations are designed to be environmentally friendly and to drive local employment. Indeed, we create, manufacture and assemble all our products in our workshop, which gives our creations a 100% Breton origin.
Our dial printing is done by an Imprim’Vert certified printer, our frames are made of PEFC certified wood, mineral glass pane, dial in PVC or UV-resistant aluminum, watch parts in brass or metal.
All our products are "Made in France".
