From Penelope, native rice from the Vercelli area, comes Nero, the first 100% Italian sake, elegant, intense, with fruity notes. Unpublished, without wanting to pose in the manner of the traditional oriental drink, it evokes its sapidity and roundness, seducing the taster with surprising notes that bring to mind the sensations of Turin vermouth. With a look at the Rising Sun, Nero is an original tribute to Piedmontese history that goes from the use of selected beer yeasts, in homage to the Turin breweries of the late 1800s, to the use of the typical botanicals of the drink so appreciated by Camillo Benso Count of Cavour.
