Round raffia basket - Jeannette

Basket in natural raffia mixed with copper raffia threads for a beautiful mottled effect. Tall and rigid, it was hand-woven by Jeannette from the Rouge Beauté association. Raffia is a plant from Madagascar, the extracted fiber of which is long and strong. The raffia is dried, dyed and woven by hand by the craftswomen who create unique pieces.
