Jolu stands for handmade and natural cosmetics. For our products we only use the best ingredients and raw materials from predominantly sustainable cultivation. We attach particular importance to close cooperation with suppliers and producers. Because only through fair treatment of nature and people can high-quality products be created. We obtain our handcrafted raw materials, for example, in Uganda and Morocco from producers whom we know personally and have visited on site. They convince with their purity of variety and unique quality. For this, we pay our suppliers fair prices above average and give them real prospects. We also support the Wakisa Ministries facility in Uganda, which we have also visited several times.
We live social and sustainable entrepreneurship. Our natural cosmetics are completely manufactured in the factory. In the production of our shampoo bar and shower bar, we have been working with physically handicapped people in the Peene workshops for years.
What is important for the content also applies to our packaging, which - reduced to the bare essentials - is made from natural materials and can be degraded or reused in an environmentally friendly manner. We use cardboard, glass and the organic plastic Green PE and focus on short distances. Labels made of grass paper and cardboard cans as transport cans make our natural cosmetics completely sustainable products.
Of course, our natural cosmetics products do not contain any microplastics. Largely without artificial colorings and preservatives and with gentle manufacturing methods, all valuable ingredients are retained in our products.
