Julia Hace Cosas was born as the personal project of Julia de Mercia, an art historian based in Madrid, in the year 2022. I started making ceramic jewelry pieces for myself and my friends in a workshop where I was learning, and from there I made the leap to make them in my home studio, with a much stronger and lighter material such as polymer clay.
Completely manually, I create these small pieces of polymer clay combined with other materials, such as stainless steel, pearls, resin or the already mentioned ceramic.
The designs cover a wide range of styles, although bright colors and floral motifs are one of the main protagonists of my creations.
I make small runs of each model, which can be repeated on request, in the event that they are not available.
