Tim Schöffmann and Julian Hille are the creative minds of the Gießen beverage plant, which has taken on a novelty on the beverage market!
Using a special manufacturing process, the two succeeded in obtaining their first tea from the coca plant and using other selected ingredients from organic agriculture to create a fruity, fresh soft drink: coca mate.
The idea came from a trip through South America, where Mate de Coca is a popular drink. When they arrived in Germany, the two got to work and completed the Peruvian coca leaves with freshly brewed mate and black tea as well as fruity orange and lemon juice - without additives such as artificial flavors, vegan and gluten-free.
