Our factory for beverage powders and herbal teas is located in the Dresden area, in the old stables of the Batzdorf manor.
The processing is carried out here in the family business with care and dedication, with hand and heart.

We developed our recipes ourselves with experimental enthusiasm and creative leisure.
When selecting our organic ingredients, we not only value exquisite taste, but also sustainable and fair origin.

The characterful graphics from the Schloß Batzdorf studio ensure artistic enjoyment.
The beginnings of the beverage powder lie in the convincing effect of the kola nut, which has accompanied us in everyday life since 2001.

We discovered early on that this peaceful source of caffeine can be combined excellently with cocoa, creating one of the first caffeine cocoa ever. UOver the years, some recipes have been created that have also found fans among friends.
In 2016 we ventured onto the market and founded our beverage powder factory so that we could no longer withhold our unique caffeine cocoa from the general public.

Out of sympathy and idealism, we chose the organic sector with its cosmopolitan and ecologically conscious customers.

The biggest obstacle was the complete lack of organic kola nuts on the world market.

Instead of getting off to a big start, we spent the first few years getting to know our customers' wishes in more detail in direct sales and at the same time looking for sources of organic kola nuts.

In 2020, a cooperative in Togo was able to supply us for the first time, and further organic projects in Brazil and Ghana followed.

These are now our basis for the import, wholesale and processing of this still rare caffeine supplier kola nut.

In order to meet the demand for cocoa without caffeine, we are constantly expanding our range of high-quality organic beverage powders.

The appropriate raw materials, know-how and resources in production are available to produce a range of caffeine-free beverage powders in our rural manufactory natur-reich-inform.

In 2023, a drinking chocolate with Criollo fine cocoa and a golden milk with turmeric and maca were added.
Production is of course sustainable, environmentally friendly and uses renewable energies.

All components involved are:a.

selected according to regional, ecological and ethical criteria.

A lively conscience is equivalent to multiple certificates, even if this often means a balancing act for competitiveness and this leads to fruitful disputes within the team.

The processing of herbs and medicinal plants gave our small factory its current name “natur-reich-inform”.

The herbal mixtures, teas and spices developed from this were perfected in their recipes over time.

Flowers and herbal tea blends
the history of natur-reich-inform by Anna-Theresia Schmidt:
Herbs, flowers and berries have fascinated me since my childhood.

The unfolding smell of wandering barefoot through wild chamomile or lying on an embankment in mountain thyme are formative memories.

Thanks to my fine nose, I have developed preferences and sometimes even intensive relationships with individual herbs.
The Latin names of many herbs and trees are easier to grasp than those of other people.

As a teenager, I explored the flora of distant countries on extensive trips.

My travel guide through the climatic zones was especially the use of herbs in foreign cultures and their medicinal medicine and application.

Thanks to the local population and longer stays in monasteries, I was able to gain insights into their traditions and world views and thus also acquire their traditional knowledge of plants.
In the beginning, I wildly collected all the herbs and flowers myself, respecting the natural resources, and dried them on large hurdles.

The increasing barter transactions and the demand for individual mixtures depending on needs suggested herb cultivation on the one hand and trade on the other.
The vast land around a former water mill and its unused rooms offered a lot
Development potential.

With the help of many volunteers and FöJ'ers, an ecological and social project was created - the Drachenmühle.

Here, guests were able to try out many fields of activity such as the protection of the surrounding biotopes and wild herbalism with their diverse forms of preparation.

The project is a thing of the past, the experience remains.
At the same time, the serving and distribution of natural products at markets and festivals developed.

With the first tea tent in Germany, unconventional but warm, we toured from one event to another.
A partner and a change of location brought me back to my homeland - Batzdorf Castle in Saxony.

Here in the highlands near Meißen, with the support of an extended family and the community of Batzdorf Castle, the areas of activity have shifted slightly.

Commercial cultivation of herbs is no longer feasible here.

We source the raw materials and some mixtures from a wonderful organic herb grower in Bavaria.

Its good quality is based on respect, experience, appreciation and careful work.
The high quality is ensured by raw materials from organic farming DE-ÖKO-021 and fair trade.

All products are vegan.

We only use natural products without additives.

Everything is based on our ecological and sustainable attitude.
