When La Plage Française was created in 2022, the Dujardin family had been logging in Gironde for three generations. If this family shares the same passion for wood, they all also like to play different racket sports: tennis, table tennis, badminton and of course beach rackets during the holidays.
Since the 1980s, the family had used a wooden beach racket kit made in France every summer. Unfortunately, these racquets ended up giving up the ghost after 30 years of good and loyal service. Their attempts to find the same type of racket kits made in France were unsuccessful.
It was during a family meal that the idea came to them to roll up their sleeves and relaunch the manufacture of beach rackets in France. The whole family got involved in this project.
