Creative Notebook Rosa

For all those who are born country people, who love pastoral images, walking in the mud and smelling the good fresh air of nature? Those who talk to their rural side, those who only dream of running in the fields, picking wild flowers and sleeping under the stars. The Rosa notebook is made for them. Small, discreet, it fits easily in their pocket or in their bag. Thus they will have the assurance of having support for their creativity even during a walk in the open air. It is part of the 2021 collection, inspired by female artists. It was the painter Rosa Bonheur who inspired the Rosa creative notebook. Inspired by The Rosa notebook is inspired by the artist Rosa Bonheur, a famous French animal painter. Rosa, whose real name is Marie Rosalie Bonheur, was born on March 16, 1822 in Bordeaux. Her father is a drawing teacher and will take her into his studio some time after her mother's death. She reveals great artistic abilities. It was in 1839 that she began to study the representation of animals which she would make her specialty. She exhibited many times at the Salon and obtained several medals and an order for a painting: Le plowing nivernais (see the last photo of the product sheet). This one is so successful that it will be exhibited at the Luxembourg Museum. It is now kept at the Musée d'Orsay. At the 1853 salon, she obtained the immense honor of being authorized to exhibit at all the salons without prior examination by the jury. She is the first woman to receive the Legion of Honor. She has an international reputation and tours in Belgium and England. Théophile Gautier will say of her “with her, there is no need for gallantry; she does art seriously, and you can treat her like a man. Painting is not for her a variety of petit point embroidery”. Which shows its success but also the misogynistic society of the time. She died on May 25, 1899 and was buried in Père Lachaise. Notebook ideas The Happiness Notebook invites them to take it everywhere with them, in the bottom of their bags or in their pockets. To write their thoughts on its lined paper, give free rein to their creativity on its multi-technique paper or even make collages on its kraft or colored paper. Its cover image calls for them to take long walks in the great outdoors, sleep under the stars, or dive into a pile of freshly cut grass.
