Former quality manager in the food sector, in search of natural and ecological care, I discovered cold saponification, an ancestral process which makes it possible to produce a surgras soap, rich in natural glycerin and which preserves the properties of the ingredients.
After the encouraging feedback from my entourage, the desire to share my creations imposed itself on me. So I made the decision to train myself and make it my job.
In June 2018, I created the Savonnerie du Roussillon.
In my workshop I make my soaps in an artisanal way with virgin vegetable oils and organic raw vegetable butters.
Some soaps contain essential oils. They are all of biological origin and carefully chosen for their properties and their fragrance.
Other ingredients such as clays and mineral pigments are added to my recipes.
After its manufacture the soap must be put in "cure" for at least 4 weeks to be able to dry.
It is then surrounded by a ring of raw and French kraft paper.
From the development of the soap to its packaging, everything is done by hand.
Each soap is unique with a specific formulation to meet the needs of each skin type.
Thanks to the cold saponification method, my soaps are soft, nourishing and moisturizing.
I also chose this manufacturing method because it allows to use little energy and to have a biodegradable soap.
