Lieke Koster Art

Dutch fine-artist Lieke Koster (1997) paints from a place of wonder. Her modern impressionistic works have a timeless feel - made to have the viewer slow down for a bit. Lieke and her husband live in, travel with and work from her self-converted 8m2 home on wheels and her work is heavily inspired by the experiences and scenes she encounters on her travels. (She's currently exploring beautiful Norway!) Loose brushstrokes and warm undertones characterize her pieces, and she mostly works with oil paints and gouache. Drawing has an important place in her painting practice too and her swift ink sketches are works of art themselves. After 3 years of growing her business by herself, she now welcomed her husband and mother into the studio and it's growing to be a family company. All have big hearts for people and planet, so they've set up a small studio in the Netherlands where they print their own fine-art print on museum quality bamboopaper. Over the years they've managed to cut down on the use of plastic in packaging completely and are proud of the original pieces, fine-art prints, postcards, t-shirts and painting kits they ship out daily.
