NC stands for Nylon/Cotton. The outside of LOWLAND OUTDOOR® Companion NC 1 is made of nylon, the inside of nice and soft 100% Egyptian cotton. Why should you choose a nylon exterior? Because nylon is moisture and dirt repellent. Plus, rip-stop nylon is super light and super tough. For the camper who doesn't feel like taking off his shoes in the tent all the time. Don't worry about your sleeping bag, it can take a beating. A 2-way zipper ensures that you can zip two Lowland Outdoor sleeping bags snugly together; but if it does get too hot, you can unzip the sleeping bag at your feet and you get extra ventilation. Like the Lowland Outdoor Companion CC 1, the Companion NC 1 keeps you nice and warm until about freezing point. This sleeping bag is filled in our own workshop in Maarsbergen. The YKK zipper has an anti-snag slider. This prevents the risk of dust between the zipper. This is the most common problem, a zipper that gets stuck and won't open. This happens because there is a piece of fabric in between and it often takes quite a bit of effort and strength to loosen it. Until today, because with this anti snag slider your zipper is fully protected.
