Just like the Companion Economy sleeping bag, the LOWLAND OUTDOOR® Companion Summer can be used at home as well as during your travel adventures, but it is more suitable for the quicker cold among us. The sleeping bag is better insulating because 4 cm high partitions have been stitched between the inner and outer cover. In this way, the down filling -despite the stitching- retains its full thickness over the entire length of the sleeping bag. A 2-way zipper ensures that you can zip two sleeping bags snugly together; but if it does get too hot, you can unzip the sleeping bag at your feet and you get extra ventilation. The YKK zipper has an anti-snag slider. This prevents the risk of dust between the zipper. This is the most common problem, a zipper that gets stuck and won't open. This happens because there is a piece of fabric in between and it often takes quite a bit of effort and strength to loosen it. Until today, because with this anti snag slider your zipper is fully protected. The Companion Summer provides insulation down to an ambient temperature of approximately 2°C. The sleeping bag is filled with 90% duck down and has a soft cover of 100% Egyptian cotton.
