The Saint Germain - 30cm

The Saint Germain is rigged with a square-headed mainsail surmounted by an arrow (name given to the small triangular sail located above the mainsail). Where does its name come from? The workshops of Maison Tirot have always been in the same city since their creation: in Romagné. But in the 1970s, it was necessary to look for a larger workshop to accommodate the growing production of toy boats. This new workshop is located rue de Saint Germain. The hull is carved out of solid beech and the ballast - in steel - is cut to perfectly match the shape of the keel. Thanks to the cleats on the deck, you can adjust the sails to adapt to all gaits and sail at best according to the weather conditions. Maison Tirot has always made its toy sailboats with the greatest care. From the choice of raw materials to the making of toys, the know-how passed down from generation to generation allows Tirot boats to withstand the weather and all the storms they will have to go through;) Designed and made in Brittany (🇫🇷 ) according to traditional and artisanal methods, the Tirot sailboats are all unique. These toy sailboats can be launched anywhere: in park basins, in ponds and even in the middle of the ocean. The maintenance of the toy is very simple, you just have to wipe it well and rinse it after each sea trip then let it dry well before putting it back in the water.
