The Wonky Woolins is a multi award winning children's brand that provides early stage children's toys and baby gifts that are all designed in Ireland and ethically handmade by marginalized women in Morocco and Nepal. Wonky Woolins also contribute to the further education and upskilling of our Woolin makers.
The best and most memorable gifts that we ever received as children were the ones that were handmade and passed down to us. 6 handmade stuffed toys were passed through my family for 6 generations, passed down to me by my Granny with the intention of me passing them down to the next generation.
These toys had survived years of play and adventure as they had been handmade to such a high quality. I received countless stuffed toys as a child but I could never remember who had gifted them to me but every time I see my Grannies Woolins they remind me of her and serve as a connection between us and that's what The Wonky Woolins are, so when a godparent, auntie or uncle gift a Wonky Woolin to a new baby or a child with a birthday coming up they become that memorable, heirloom gift that they cherish for a lifetime.
