Hi ! We are the Official Mascots of Paris 2024! We are proud to represent the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games and to make you experience great emotions before, during and after the Games! We are part of the Tribe of the Phryges, little Phrygian hats who came to help the French make their revolution through sport! Our plumed red color and our shape characterize us and remind us of our history and the values of our country: freedom!
We have been leaders in the creation and manufacturing of Doudou® for 40 years.
The creative teams of Paris 2024 had to work on each proportion of the character, each expression in the effort, while ensuring to choose the right graphic representations of accessories to be faithful to the sports.
THE EYE: designed to be both mischievous and ultra expressive, it draws a cockade so that the Phrygian cap is immediately identifiable.
THE MOUTH: worked with care in each expression, to give good nature and personality to the Mascots.
SNEAKERS: the choice of the running blade for the Paralympic Mascot was made for its sporting symbolism and to give maximum visibility to people with disabilities.
The Paris 2024 mascots appeal to the French, and even more so to children. Paris 2024 has chosen the Phrygian cap to represent the two mascots of Paris 2024.
The “Phryges” are the subject of a very positive reception from the French, all ages combined. Indeed, if 75% of adults like them, 83% of children aged 6 to 17 share this opinion (nearly half of whom indicate that they like them a lot)
