Where does this desire to create come from?
Creation is a family affair. My mother is an artist and my father an inventor. An ideal cocktail where passion, daydreaming and creativity come into their own. It was by visiting exhibitions and museums that I discovered art in all its forms. It was by exploring with my mother that I learned about the subject.
What are your brand values?
Particularly sensitive to environmental issues, I created Mathilda-creations with the idea of offering an ethical brand that promotes recycling in all its forms. As you will have understood, Mathilda-creations is much more than a simple jewelry brand, it is a project for the future, a more responsible mode of consumption...
What materials do you recycle?
I have been recycling bicycle and tractor inner tubes for 5 years. I am constantly looking for new materials to recycle. My workshop is full of tests of all kinds. For me it is becoming urgent to recycle and reuse in order to reduce landfilling.
I like the idea of transforming the image of "Waste" which is meant to be repulsive into a refined object that is jewelry.
