Méditation Kid is the story of Florine Fond, a destitute mother faced with her 4-year-old daughter who is very anxious, especially when falling asleep. Looking for 1001 solutions to best accompany and support her, Florine crosses paths with meditation. And there, bingo, it is finally THE miracle solution! But this one will unfortunately be short-lived… Chiara, her daughter, finds that “meditation is not really funny.”
Florine does not despair and wonders how can she help her daughter feel better? Meditation, yes, but how to make it more fun than audio on a CD? One December afternoon while playing 7 families with her daughter, the idea of creating a card game struck her. A card game, of course!
A playful and easy-to-access medium for children. This is how Méditation Kid was born, card games with meditation sauce.
Following this, 2 years of research, creations, doubts and questions followed. How to link mediation and play? Where to print a self-publishing deck of cards? Will this format be suitable for children?
Florine moves mountains, sees several doors close but overcomes all the obstacles that come her way and finally...
A glimmer of hope at the end of this long tunnel finally appears! A small family printing company agrees to print his first 200 decks of cards. Neither one nor two, Florine offloads her meager savings and orders the first copies of her card game.
In January 2019, Meditation and Well-Being comes out of print. The mother with a dependent child still freaks out when she opens the box containing all these packs of cards. She wonders if she didn't make the worst mistake of her life...
But against all odds, the game is quickly out of stock! Florine realizes that in addition to families, there are also many professionals who use her card game.
In 2020, Meditation and 7 Chakras completes the collection of the 7 families. Un, Deux, Toi, a game that brings together introspective questions and fun pledges will be released in September 2022...
Since then, Meditation Kid games have been tested and approved by more than 35,000 families and professionals in the child sector.
