Welcome to the universe of the Heaven rug collection, which showcases the traditional craftsmanship of the Badohi weavers in the province of Uttar Pradesh in India. Inspired by the changing skies of the New Mexico desert and the gradients of Georgia O'Keefe's paintings, our designs captivate the eye. Our rugs are hand woven with natural New Zealand wool yarns, carefully selected for its softness. The yarns are spun by hand, then dyed manually by our artisan dyers to obtain the perfect shades. To create the desired gradient effect, three wool threads are dyed separately and then skilfully intertwined. Each rug is woven by hand on wooden looms in our workshop in Badohi. After a gentle wash with an eco-friendly pH-neutral soap and air-drying, the rug is brushed by hand to give it the desired fluffy softness. The edges are precision finished by our craftsmen. These artisanal techniques preserve an ancestral culture and make each carpet a unique piece, carrying history and authenticity. Each rug is hand woven on wooden looms and finished with care by hand.
