Balsamic Vinegar of Modena is the result of a perfect balance between the sweetness of the must and the acidity of the vinegar (6%) which gives it an inimitable taste and aroma. To distinguish the quality of its products, Mussini assigns them a progressive number of “Gold Medals”: the more they are, the richer the history and quality of balsamic vinegar. The Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI "FAMIGLIA MUSSINI" 5 Gold Medals is obtained according to the method of our family tradition, using only selected grape musts, cooked over direct heat and then mixed with the best well-matured wine vinegar. It has a syrupy consistency, a dark, shiny color and a pleasantly sweet and sour flavor. Its balanced and aromatic taste recalls hints of plum and vanilla.
