Ravintsara essential oil is a major and most effective oil to use from the first cold weather. Gentle and well tolerated, ravintsara essential oil is essential during the winter period. For safe and effective use for the whole family, it is recommended especially for diffusion or inhalation. Ravintsara essential oil is effective and well tolerated, both in diffusion and in inhalation or massage diluted in a vegetable oil. The only restriction: the presence of eucalyptol in its composition, also called 1,8-cineole, makes it not recommended for people with asthma. The essential oil of ravintsara can easily be replaced by that of Saro (Madravasarotra) which has equivalent virtues. It should, however, not be confused with aromatic Ravinsare essential oil, which has a very different composition.
