Quickly fold your magic carpet to fly through the clouds. Let the magic race begin! Take part in a magic carpet race through the desert towards the Flying Palace. Magic Fold is a racing game designed by Bruno Cathala and Yohan Goh. To advance, each player must fold their cloth mat to make magical combinations of various symbols. Speed and thought are required to fold quickly and well before other players complete the formula before you. Luckily, genies can help you out and act as wild cards to replace any symbol. Aim for the shortcuts on the course, but watch out for the cobras so as not to suffer any penalties. Players fold their flying carpet simultaneously to reproduce the patterns of one of the 4 Challenge cards of their choice. As soon as a player has finished folding his magic carpet, he takes the corresponding Challenge card as well as the associated Initiative token and turns over the hourglass. Once the hourglass time has elapsed, each player moves according to the number of clouds that appear on their Challenge card and on their Initiative token. The first player to arrive at the Flying Palace wins the game.
