POPPY SEEDS (300 gr)

Poppy seeds are sources of protein and rich in vitamin B1. They are appreciated for their nutty flavor which increases during cooking. Ideal for flavoring stews, curries as well as pastries or bread. Used in making breads, can be mixed into the dough and sprinkled over the breads. Putting them in the oven accentuates their very pleasant nutty taste as well as the crunchy sensation. Very good too, after being toasted, to sprinkle on salads and vegetables.
