Petritegi Sparkling Cider: Brut Nature

Brut Nature sparkling natural cider made by the Otaño-Goikoetxea family in the Petritegi farmhouse using the traditional second fermentation method in bottle. -ELABORATION: Selection of a natural cider and pouring into the bottles, where the second fermentation takes place using the traditional method.  Aged on lees in a rhyme position for at least nine months.  Decanting the cider for about four weeks.  Disgorging and corking. -APPLES: Some of the best native cider apple varieties have been selected. -CATA'S NOTES: View.  Pale yellow color with golden reflections, fine bubbles that rise slowly and very elegantly.  Smell.  Fresh and fruity aromas, in harmony with certain toasted notes.  Taste.  Natural dry sparkling cider, with a slight acidity and a notable freshness, both typical of the Basque cider apples with which it is made. -CONSERVATION AND SERVICE: The bottles should be stored upright in a cool, dark place free of foreign odors.  Serve at a temperature between 5ºC and 7ºC, pouring gently and very close to the mouth of the glass, with it slightly inclined.     Vol.  7% Does not contain gluten.
