Petritegi Denomination of Origin Euskal Sagardoa is a cider made 100% with selected apples grown in the Basque Country and with the quality mark of the Denomination of Origin. It is made after a selection of the best native varieties, from early harvest, and which have been fermented with our own native yeast from the Urtebi Haundi apple, giving rise to a balanced cider, very fresh and with powerful fruit aromas. -ELABORATION: We make this natural cider following traditional methods: growing apple trees and harvesting the harvest; selection, washing, crushing and pressing of the fruits in the farmhouse winepresses; fermentation of the musts and racking in the family winery; bottling of cider. -APPLES: 6 of the best native varieties have been selected from recently planted apple orchards: Txalaka, Goikoetxea, Urtebi Haundi, Moko, Gezamina and Urtebi Txiki. Location: Gipuzkoa (5 plots), Lea-Artibai and Busturialdea (Bizkaia). -CATA'S NOTES: View. Straw yellow color, slight turbidity and balanced txinparta. Smell. Concentrated aromas of fresh fruit. Taste. Pleasant balance between light acidity and subtle bitterness. Cider with recognizable body and freshness. -CONSERVATION AND SERVICE: The bottles should be stored horizontally in a cool, dark place free of foreign odors. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 13ºC, pouring to a height of around 30 cm into a wide, thin glass, slightly inclined, using the built-in pourer-stopper. Vol. 6% Does not contain gluten.
