PINK FAN The Mayan women’s collective handcrafts the fans that make the reputation of the State of Campeche in Mexico. This collective cultivates the “jipi japa” palm known for its finesse allowing the creation of flexible and resistant fans. The palm leaves are cut, dried, sometimes dyed with plants and roots, then woven in a cellar where the humidity helps soften the fiber. Efan in woven palm and wood L 34cm / H 23cm approx.
