Handmade
Our products are the result of precise, manufactured cutting, followed by manual assembly.
The name “Pointe de sel” is a nod to the hand sewing technique of saddle stitch favored by our brand. This technique used only by the largest luxury leather goods houses, thus ensuring exceptional durability to our products.

Producing in France is at the heart of our identity, and Brittany is our source of inspiration. We are proud to manufacture our products in France in our workshop in Rennes (35).

At "Pointe de Sel", we believe in the beauty of French raw materials. In addition, traceability is one of our major concerns. This is why we use vegetable tanned leather, fish leather from the ICTYOS tannery in Lyon, and cattle leather from a Vosges tannery, as well as other high quality materials, such as linen and thread woven in the north of France.

Our little extra is our commitment to the sea, a source of inspiration for our leather goods. We use a unique material: fish leather. This leather is both sumptuous and colorful.
But our differentiation goes beyond aesthetics. We are proud to contribute to the recovery of waste from fishing and aquaculture by using fish leather intended to be thrown away. Thus, we transform potential waste into ethical and sustainable leather goods.
