Hummus Orginal of chickpeas is a typical Middle Eastern preparation; a delicious and velvety cream with a persistent flavor that combines the delicate taste of chickpeas with the pungent one of tahini (sesame cream) and lemon juice. Excellent served on crackers and croutons or to accompany fresh raw vegetables. To enhance the taste, add chopped fresh parsley.
