100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by distillation (steam distillation) of the flowering tops of Thymus vulgaris linaloferum. Thyme is a sub-shrub that grows in scrubland and likes dry soil. Of all the species of thyme, the most widely used is common thyme (Thymus vulgaris), which can yield different essential oils (chemotypes) depending on its culture. Thyme with linalool is the sweetest, and is so pleasant that the plant was named in Greek "thyo": to smell good, to embalm. Use: Food flavoring (FEMA n°: 3064 / CoE n°: 465n) Food dosage: 1 drop in a dish for 5 people (never exceed 2%) Always use essential oil diluted in a suitable medium (example: vegetable oil, honey, etc.) Soluble in alcohol, fatty substances (vegetable oils and butters) and emulsions (creams). Insoluble in water. It is however possible to use it as a mixture in these types of products but pre-mixed with Solubol (in this case it is necessary to put 4 times more solubol than essential oil).
