Along the Santerno river there is this beautiful waterfall, an ideal alternative to the sea during summer, the perfect place for cooling off in the hot days. Nearby is the abandoned village of Castiglioncello, which was once the customs house of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany. From there, you can admire the waterfall known as Cascata del Rio dei Briganti. A slice of heaven on heart where time seems to stand still. You just have to enjoy the sound of the jets of water.
