Iris olive candle - Autumn • Italy A powdery and warm note contrasted by the aromatic notes of green olive. The iris is the most precious and expensive material in the perfumer's palette. It is the rhizomes that contain this subtle smell, maturing after three years of flowering. We have selected the Pallida iris for the richness of its powdery and woody notes. Its harvest is done by hand by the same Tuscan families for generations, in fields surrounded by century-old olive trees. The roots are then dried for 3 years before being crushed to obtain a valuable extract.
