Jasmine Pearls is a green tea flavored with jasmine flowers and has its origins in the Chinese Song Dynasty. Today, jasmine tea is a popular drink in China. The Jasmin Pearls are considered to be of particularly high quality. Also known as "Zhen Zhu", the tea has long been considered an imperial tribute tea. Imperial tribute teas were of particularly high quality and were drunk by Chinese emperors. Green tea is dried and hand-rolled alternately with a layer of jasmine flowers. The flowers open when heated and give off their good aroma before they are separated from the green tea again. Always store in a cool, dry, airtight and light-tight place.
