For our aromatic East Frisian tea, Assam teas from the Harmutty, Satrupa, Balimara and Jamguri gardens were used. Traditionally, the strong tea is drunk with Kluntjes (rock sugar) and cream. Preparation: Bring one liter of water to a boil. Put eight to ten grams of the tea into a pot, pour half the water over it, let the infusion steep for five minutes and then pour in the remaining hot liquid. Always store in a cool, dry, airtight and lightproof place.
