Seedball Wildflower Grab Bags - Poppy

Each bag of Poppy Seedballs contains 100 seed balls, enough to cover 5 metre square in a garden bed or 15-25 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered in Spring or Autumn. A bag bursting with common poppy seeds - each ball contains around 100 Common Poppy wildflower seeds. A bright red flowering annual – this hugely popular native wildflower is fantastic for pollinators and garden birds and a stunning addition to any wildflower garden. Poppies are also a big favourite of ours for window boxes or for other small growing spaces. Paper packaging is compostable and 100% plastic-free. We make the seed balls ourselves from our HQ in North London - from a mixture of UK native wildflower seeds, clay, peat-free compost and chilli powder. The clay protects the seeds from wildlife, and once water has permeated the clay, the seeds inside will germinate, helped along by nutrients and minerals contained within the ball. The chilli powder deters slugs and snails while the seed ball degrades and and the seeds sprout. All wildflowers are listed by the RHS as 'Plants for Pollinators'.
