Became known with its distinctive snowballs, Shake it Baby is on a mission to bring joy and happiness in the world by offering beautiful, imaginative products with a spirit of originality.
Back in 2015, founder Marie-José van den Ende, a former high end fashion buyer turned photographer, wanted to help a friend who was looking for distinctive products for his new concept store in Amsterdam. It was her idea to combine big snowballs with quotes and matching pictures. She created a small collection and the snowballs were quickly sold out. This inspired her to make a brand out of it and thus began a new adventure.
Much loved for their new, artistic and fashionable approach to gifts, Shake it Baby got a warm welcome from concept stores, museum stores as well as luxurious department stores worldwide.
Shake it Baby snowballs (available in two sizes) are filled with sophisticated illustrations and inspiring quotes. Plus: they are easy to personalise! The snowballs come in a beautiful gift box. An instant smile is guaranteed.
In the meantime, the collection has been expanded with a brand new product by designing a collection of 28 premium, eclectic Greeting Cards with heads and quotes of famous people. A fine chain is attached in place of the profile’s person. Shake it and you make crazy, funny faces! These folded cards are printed on sustainable paper and are handcrafted as well. They come with a beautiful, matching envelope. A true eye catcher!
