We were working on our cardio armband to offer a heart tracker that was more reliable than watches and more comfortable than chest straps. We had decided to integrate an optical sensor into the armband, but we ran into the following problem: having the sensor against the skin and the phone outside the jacket… that's actually how the system was born detachable magnetic pocket, and we quickly understood that this was what could revolutionize telephone accessories.
