Porcelain figure depicting a woman in an elegant Tiffany-colored dress with vaporous tulle inserts on the skirt and sleeves. She sits on a circular base, with her legs sideways and her hands on her knees, she wears her hair styled softly over one shoulder and tied with a bow matching her dress, while she looks thoughtfully into the distance. Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the creation of each individual piece and in the production technique which is unmatched and which makes it difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the body of the statue. The hair styles are also handmade from time to time. On the "bisque" terracotta the faces, clothes and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
