Porcelain figure depicting a boy sitting on the ground with his hands on his bent knees. He wears gray knickerbockers, a white shirt and a Tiffany-colored vest, with a peach-colored bandana around his neck. He has unkempt hair and adventurer boots, but he looks at the elegant Manù with loving eyes, dreaming of being reciprocated. Every object produced by Sibania is absolutely unique both in the creation of each individual piece and in the production technique which is unmatched and which makes it difficult to imitate. These items are entirely modeled and painted by hand in our laboratory in the province of Vicenza (Italy). The clothes are thin sheets of porcelain, on which textures are imprinted. These sheets are cut according to the dress model and then patiently applied to the body of the statue. The hair styles are also handmade from time to time. On the "bisque" terracotta the faces, clothes and accessories are painted with non-toxic colours; the piece finally undergoes a further firing called "third fire". Any further details such as violin strings or wasp stands are applied at this point to the finished piece.
