Our fruity and hot Tellicherry pepper comes from the Thalassery region in south-west India. It is harvested as a late harvest, i.e. only the large, almost ripe, most aromatic pepper berries are picked and dried. That's why it has this reddish-brown-black color and the fruity aroma. The quality mark TGSEB stands for "Tellicherry Garbled Special Extra Bold". We recommend freshly grinding the Tellicherry pepper, using a mortar or cooking it whole.
