This gorgeous raw Larimar pendant necklace is such a great piece! The cage has a lovely rustic feel, and the dark oxidization is perfect to highlight the spectacular blue sky/sea color of the raw Larimar. Larimar is a rare blue variety of pectolite found only in the Dominican Republic. Larimar is said to promote tranquillity and a strong sense of inner peace and serenity. It is useful in time of pressure and stressful change as its cooling and calming energy is said to help soothe frazzled nerves and reduce stress. Larimar is also said to be a useful stone for attracting a soul mate. In addition Larimar is said to alleviate feelings of guilt and fear and to aid communication in relationships. It can reduce the tendency to become over-critical of both yourself and others and can encourage you to let go and allow things to happen rather than trying to control every outcome. The powers mentioned above are not scientifically proven, so I cannot guarantee the efficacy of the stones. CARING FOR STERLING SILVER Sterling silver jewellery, if not worn for long periods of time, may develop a patina, which is easily removed with a silver polishing cloth, available in all diy stores. If you want to “do it yourself”, here's a way: ***wet the silver piece in water, apply a small amount of fluoride toothpaste on the silver. Rub the toothpaste into the silver slowly, keeping it wet. Rub it until the toothpaste turns its into a greysh dark colour. Let it sit for about 2 minutes. Wash away the toothpaste. The silver will show immediate improvement***
