With this mission Stitch Amsterdam was founded by Lonneke van Kuijeren. How can it be that one of the most loved industries around the globe is also the 3rd most polluting industry?
We have to change! Stitch Amsterdam wants to set the new sustainable standard for fashion. By producing on demand in our local stitching studio, we minimize waste. Using only organic and sustainable materials we develop well-made, durable products, to be used and loved for a long time. We embrace the slow fashion movement and keep our embroidery designs in the collection, for as long as they still get loved.
And we want it to be funky, combining ‘old school’ embroidery with refreshingly cool designs for young and old. Everybody wants to stay young forever. Some people inspire us to enjoy life just that funky bit extra. Let’s rock and roll with our daddy cool rockstar or catch some waves with a hula hoop grandpa! All these babies are ready for a big adventure.
