Sliced Almond

As a crunchy and tasty decoration, the aromatic almond flakes are delicious with desserts. Whether cold or warm, they can be combined with almost everything the kitchen has to offer. Marzipan is made from almonds. The raw marzipan paste is then used to make confectionery and pastries. These blanched almonds are shaved into paper-thin slices. They can be sprinkled as decoration on cakes, tarts or desserts or roasted with sugar in butter; so they are suitable as brittle and equally as decoration.
