Classic organic red (black) tea from Nepal 50g

This red tea from Nepal has the particularity, like our entire line of teas from this region, of having been produced and processed at an altitude of about 2000 meters. 

Such a high altitude is quite unusual for a red tea, especially as regards its processing which involves the total oxidation of the leaf. 

The temperatures and the more rarefied air to which this tea is exposed, in fact, lead it to have a slower oxidation that does not reach high percentages but tends to stop at around 75%. 

Obviously this different speed at which chemical reactions take place leads the tea to develop its flavors in a different way than Chinese red tea from Fujian or the closest Dian Hong from Yunnan. 

In particular, these leaves, once infused, will give a result similar to that of a rich Chinese red tea but with a clear separation between the flavors and a prolonged persistence over time.
