The Negroni is a short drink cocktail that balances between bitterness, sweet spices and awakens thanks to the tonicity of gin. The story goes that in 1919 Count Camillo Negroni one day asked a bartender to raise his Americano (Vermouth Bitter, soda water). The bartender, Fosco Scarselli, complied by replacing the soda water with gin. This drink pleased the Count so much that it became his favorite drink.
