Round, light and refreshing, the Daiquiri is a Cuban cocktail made from local light rum, more odorous than an agricultural rum, lime and sugar. In 1898 after the victory of the Battle of San Juan Hill by Roosevelt, the Americans were sent to exploit the iron mines. Jennings Cox, a miner, working in ....Daiquiri, a small town in Cuba, invented this eponymous cocktail. Simple in appearance because it requires only three ingredients, it is however easier to miss it than to succeed it.
