Milagro ex-voto cherubim - Gold

Characteristic of Mexican religious art, these ex-votos (also called milagros) are used either independently or to decorate more elaborate pieces to make a wish or give thanks for a wish that has been fulfilled. They are made of zamac metal (mixture of zinc, aluminum, magnesium and copper) melted and cast in a mold made by hand. Very widespread in Mexico and Latin America, it is very difficult to find artisan manufacturers who jealously guard their methods and are located in remote areas of Mexico. Thanks to the craftsmanship, each piece is unique and different. Golden color.
