Marula oil has four times as much vitamin C as oranges and is packed with omega-9 fatty acids, vitamin E and flavonoids. These essential fatty acids and strong antioxidants - especially the high oleic acid content (at 70-80%) - help maintain and strengthen the skin's moisture barrier, provide long-lasting hydration and improve the skin's elasticity and appearance. KEY INGREDIENTS: Wild-harvested Marula oil is a luxurious and silky oil cold-pressed from the core of the fruit of the Marula tree which grows in South Africa. Its high content of monounsaturated fatty acids, primarily oleic acid (omega 9) provides for its unusually good moisturizing and emollient properties, making it particularly suitable for dry and mature skin. In addition, marula oil is extremely rich in antioxidants in the form of Vitamins C and E, which have a regenerating and protective effect. Marula oil is absorbed quickly and leaves the skin deliciously soft and supple with a healthy glow. Nilotica Shea Butter is a rare and unusually delicious and creamy shea butter. Nilotica shea butter is made from wild-harvested nuts from the charity tree (Vitellaria nilotica) that only grows in a limited area in East Africa, especially northern Uganda, and is different from the more conventional and gritty shea butter that comes from West Africa, typically Ghana.
