It is extremely moisturizing with high vitamin E content. Ilipe butter has been used for millennia by the locals to soften and protect the skin and to heal small wounds and tears. Our Illipe butter comes directly from the wild forests of Borneo (West Kalimantan) where we collaborate with a wonderful company that extracts products from the trees of the Rainforest. They use local labor and do a great job of raising awareness about rainforest clearing and coming up with alternative solutions. Nilotica shea butter is made from wild-harvested nuts from the charity tree (Vitellaria nilotica) that only grows in a limited area in East Africa, especially northern Uganda, and is different from the more conventional and gritty shea butter that comes from West Africa, typically Ghana. Nilotica shea butter is silky soft and creamy and is absorbed by the skin much faster than conventional shea butter. It is extremely rich in Vitamins A and E and healthy fatty acids and provides plenty of moisture and care for dry and chapped lips. Organic Golden Jojoba oil has a fatty acid profile that is very similar to the skin's own oil (sebum), which means that it is absorbed smoothly by most skin types and is extremely suitable for regulating and balancing the skin's own sebum production. Jojoba oil is very rich in vitamin E, which has a protective, soothing and anti-inflammatory effect and promotes healthy, radiant and well-groomed skin and lips.
