Composition: Ginger Roots. Ginger is a plant native to India, of the Zingiber genus and of the Zingiberaceae family, of which only the rhizome bearing the name is used. The taste of dried ginger (different from fresh ginger) is woody, peppery and lemony at the same time. Used for thousands of years in China and India, as a medicinal plant and as a condiment. Ginger powder is used in Chinese and oriental cuisine. It enhances soups, shellfish dishes, meat stews or vegetables.
