Nigella

Composition: Nigella. The nigella is one of the most revered medicinal seeds in history. In Arabic nigelle is said: habat al baraka (the blessed seed) or habba sawda. Abu Hurayra, a famous reporter of prophetic traditions, reported that the Prophet Muhammad said in the 7th century: "heal yourself with organic nigella seed, it is a remedy for all ailments except death". It is found in many spice blends, especially African and Oriental blends such as the Berber blend from Ethiopia or the famous ras el hanout. Also used on breads, in the steaming of Vegetables...its fragrance and its beauty (the only spice with such a deep and resistant black color after grinding) can accompany all your dishes without exception.
